For Nick's Birthday we asked him what he wanted. He requested a T-Bone Steak and a HALO Cake! Happy 11th Birthday Nick!!!

Another Snorkeling Trip
For Nick's Birthday he decided he wanted to rent a boat and go do some snorkeling and fishing for a few days.
We got to see some beautiful Parrot Fish and 6 Dolphins playing in the water together, some Baracuda and yes of course Shark!

Hanging Out in the Florida Keys
We have enjoyed hanging out in the Florida Keys for the last month. So much that we have extended our stay here for another month.
This is such a great place to be for the kids. We are out on a point with a view of the the beautiful ocean on 3 sides! We have been snorkeling, fishing, swimming, sunbathing....and relaxing!!!!
While snorkeling, Nick yelled....SHARK...we thought it was a fish story, but the next night we were fishing and SHARK!!! A bit scary! We found a dead Shark on the beach the other day, so the kids have had the chance to punch the shark in the nose! :)
We had a great surprise the other day when a MANATEE showed up. Come to find out, the Mantee's like to come and hang out in the channel near by. We have had the joy of playing with the Manatee's and a water hose a few times now.
Victor (our old roommate) and Holly and their boys came for a visit this last weekend. We enjoyed playing in the sun with them. It was great to hang out with old friends.
We went out on the boat the other day and a Dolphin did a BEAUTIFUL jump right in front of us! It was like we were in a movie!!!
Island Life is good! It is a great place to be as the kids finish up the school year! I would like to invite anyone who would like to join us to come! :)

Took a vacation
So for Spring Break we took the kids to visit their friends in Texas. We got to fly on Eric's plane for the first time. That being said, we had to go from Florida to California to get to Texas because Virgin does not fly to Texas from the East Coast.
Soooooo....we decided to spend the weekend in San Francisco before heading to Texas.
We enjoyed driving on the Golden Gate Bridge, had a Tea Party in Ghirardelli Square and even saw a NAKED Bike Parade! :/ While enjoying our In-N-Out burgers.
