Hanging Out in the Florida Keys

We have enjoyed hanging out in the Florida Keys for the last month.  So much that we have extended our stay here for another month.

This is such a great place to be for the kids.  We are out on a point with a view of the the beautiful ocean on 3 sides!  We have been snorkeling, fishing, swimming, sunbathing....and relaxing!!!!

While snorkeling, Nick yelled....SHARK...we thought it was a fish story, but the next night we were fishing and SHARK!!!  A bit scary!  We found a dead Shark on the beach the other day, so the kids have had the chance to punch the shark in the nose!  :)

We had a great surprise the other day when a MANATEE showed up.  Come to find out, the Mantee's like to come and hang out in the channel near by.  We have had the joy of playing with the Manatee's and a water hose a few times now.

Victor (our old roommate) and Holly and their boys came for a visit this last weekend.  We enjoyed playing in the sun with them.  It was great to hang out with old friends.

We went out on the boat the other day and a Dolphin did a BEAUTIFUL jump right in front of us!  It was like we were in a movie!!!

Island Life is good!  It is a great place to be as the kids finish up the school year!  I would like to invite anyone who would like to join us to come!  :)
