Houston Children's Museum

Thursday, We went to the Houston Children's Museum.  The kids LOVED it!  We played hard, and I think dad (Bob) had just as much fun, if not MORE!!!  At one point, I asked mom where dad was, and she said, he's in the art room stamping!  He say's he was making a paper airplane!

Nick loved this one area called Kidtropolis.  It is a town that is run by kids.  He said, I need to go find a job.  He tried being  Weatherman, a Pet Groomer, but in the end, he decided he wanted to be a banker.  He said there's lots of money there!

They have these little cards, that you could put into a fake ATM and Nick just loved earning money and depositing it into his account!

Mady on the other hand, enjoyed reporting the News, (although she laughed the entire time), working as a Vet, and her favorite working in the grocery store!

Friday, we spent most of the day working on school!  I don't want you guys to think that we never doing anything but play.  :)  They had spelling tests, Nick had a 8 page History Mid Term Exam, Mady had a Phonics test, and Nick a Language test.  WHEW!  I then recorded all of their grades and filed all of their worksheets and tests!

We did take a break however in the middle of school and went on a new trail.  It is a great Bike Trail.  As we came around a corner, there were 3 deer.  They were so cute with their little white, fluffy tails!  They ran to one side and then we crossed paths a few feet later and they decided we weren't a threat!  We continued on down the trail and came across a couple of Armadillo shells.  I didn't know Armadillo's had shells!  We then went across a few bridges and back home.

Today, Saturday, Mady, Mom and I went on a little adventure.  We went to a furniture store and IKEA.  It was crazy busy everywhere, but we had a nice day!  Nick stayed home with Grandad.  They like to ride their bikes, hike new trails and go fishing.

That's our adventures for the last 2 days.  Hope you enjoy our pictures of Nick and Mady at the Children's Museum!
